Mission
Painted Sky Resource, Conservation and Development Council proactively locates and obtains grant funding for projects. Projects generally support the resource conservation and development areas.
We support businesses, communities, and individuals. Our efforts include grant preparation, information, education, assistance and project management. Our goal is a combination of economic development and environmental improvements. We work to balance and promote natural and human resources and improve the general level of economic activity while enhancing the environment and life style in our area. Our area covers the seven-county area of southwestern Colorado, including all of Delta, Gunnison, Montrose, Ouray counties and portions of Hinsdale, San Miguel, and Saguache counties.
